I have taken Pilates classes with Elide for 18 months, starting as an absolute but enthusiastic beginner. Through a combination of her professional knowledge, her ability to engage you individually in a class and her very lovely disposition I have learnt such a lot and progressed to  an Intermediate level.  I have, above all else, learnt to listen to my body and to engage, control and command each muscle group individually and in sequence . This is powerful knowledge, taught to me by a fabulous , caring and patient teacher. I am impatient by nature (I am told) and to learn to slow down and to take control of my body has been an invaluable lesson to learn. Elide is  an excellent teacher- and I am so pleased that she is now in my life. I have so much more to learn.

I have done Pilates for years but only with Eli I have started seeing big changes. She is not only lovely, caring and good fun but she also controls if we do the exercise correctly (so no cheating!). I have finally started seeing changes in my body and my mind. I feel more energised and happy in my own body. I feel stronger and more flexible. We kept going during the lock down on Zoom. This was and still is something I love to do. I know twice per week we will work hard and have good laughter. Zoom Pilates is fun, especially when there are dogs involved. I'm very grateful that I met her. She helped me through rough times when I was ill and my body couldn't cope. She always found something I could do and slowly I started improving. Her positive attitude is infectious. She is just the best!
